After Mr Lee Kuan Yew’s passing this morning, Singaporeans have taken to social media to share their grief and condolences. However, one photo has risen that encapsulates what Singaporeans are all feeling –
that nothing else will compare to what Mr Lee has given Singapore.

The photo was posted on Instagram by Francine Tang, and was taken by her father, Francis, a few years back. In her Instagram post, Francine writes:
“Thank you for building us a home when there was none. Thank you for dedicating your whole life to this nation.”
In the Prime Minister’s address to the nation at 8am this morning, PM Lee said that
“We won’t see another man like him.”
